Every day brings another crisis, another argument, another reminder of how badly humans seem to be handling the problems we face. If you spend enough time watching it, you might start to believe the whole world is falling apart.
This space is where I think out loud about human behavior, the strange ways we approach problems, and why the world sometimes looks worse than it really is. Sometimes that takes the form of essays. Sometimes it’s humor. Sometimes it’s a cartoon about a porch‑sitting genie trying to explain the news to a worried human.
None of this is meant to be the final word on anything. It’s just an attempt to step back from the noise for a moment and look at the patterns behind it.
